How many names you can create

With your access key, you can create unlimited user accounts. Use it for yourself, your partner, your kids, your friends; we trust you to use it reasonably.

💳

Refunds

If “The Decree” isn't for you, no problems. You can request a refund within 14 days of your purchase. Just message us on Twitter @VeryCoolSupport, reply to your access key email, or contact aloha(@)verycoolprojects.com and we'll handle it.

Refunds are processed back to the same payment method you originally used. So if you paid with a credit card, the refund goes back to that card; if you paid via another processor, it goes back through the same one. This is standard practice and the only way we can issue refunds.

♾️

What "lifetime access" actually means

Lifetime access means you keep access to the game for as long as Very Cool Projects exists and operates “The Decree”. Our intention is for that to be a very long time, and we're committed to keeping the game alive.

In the extremely unlikely scenario that Very Cool Projects ever has to dissolve or stop operating, the lifetime promise still stands. In that case, you'll be able to request a copy of the game's code so you can run it locally, paste it into a browser, and keep playing forever. Just reach out and we'll send it over. Lifetime is lifetime.

🔒

Your data & privacy

“The Decree” runs entirely on your device. Your tasks, points, streaks, and everything else stay in your browser's local storage. The server is only activated to confirm the access key is valid, that’s it.

⚖️

Reasonable use

“The Decree” is a productivity game built for personal use. We value our clients, so we allow you sharing it with loved ones. You agree, however, not to share your code publicly on the web. If we detect abuse, we reserve the right to retrive the access key without a refund.
